Manila, Philippines — July 24, 2025 — Phoenix Publishing House strengthened its production capabilities with the ceremonial signing of a contract to acquire an additional Ricoh Pro VC40000 continuous feed inkjet printer. Held at the Phoenix office, the event highlighted the company’s purposeful expansion to support its mission of delivering timely, high-quality educational materials that build learner resilience.
Attending the ceremony were Phoenix President Ms. Maria Fatima Sibal, Senior Vice President Carlos Sibal, VP for Business Development Ms. Maria Clara Sibal, Managing Director Ms. Sarah Oblena, and Legal Officer Atty. Gio Limjoco. Representing Ricoh were Mr. Akira Oyama, President and CEO of Ricoh Company Ltd.; Keiichiro Uesugi, Managing Director of Ricoh Asia Pacific; and Mr. Frederic Sulit, President and CEO of Ricoh Philippines Inc.
Ricoh presented a plaque of appreciation to Phoenix, honoring their long-standing partnership. The event also featured a guided tour of the Phoenix and Central Book Supply Inc. production facilities, where Ricoh executives observed the company’s commitment to innovation and quality.
The new printer will enhance Phoenix’s ability to meet growing demand, ensuring the continuous delivery of educational resources that support schools, educators, and learners across the country.
